Branch Ring with Rutilated Quartz

The Branch Ring is a part of the Living Remains collection. The Oak branch was collected from the house on Vancouver Island where Caroline grew up while helping her father rake endless colored oak leaves in the fall. The small branch was molded and cast in sterling silver, then shaped into the ring and combined with the stone. A darkened patina is added to the silver branch in finishing, to accent the details of the branch. 

Materials: Sterling silver and Rutilated Quartz.

Rutilated quartz is a variety of quartz which contains acicular inclusions of rutile. It is used for gemstones, these inclusions mostly look golden.

Rutilated Quartz is an illuminator for the soul, promoting spiritual growth. It cleanses and energises the aura. Draws off negative energy and disease, letting go of the past. ... Rutilated Quartz relieves fears, phobias and anxiety.
